Short biography: 

Dr. Konstantinos Ioannidis, is an architect, writer and practitioner. He graduated from Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki (Dipl.Ing.) and received a MSc in spatial psychology from the Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences, Athens. He received his Doctoral Degree from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden and continued his PostDoc research at AUTH in the field of architecture design and digital humanities. He taught architecture and urban design courses in different universities in Greece, Denmark and Norway. He has participated in conferences and workshops in Europe, Canada, USA, South Korea and Japan and his research work has been published in various international journals. His main area of research is the study of the syntactic and configurative concepts within generative systems for the process and thinking of architectural design and the interaction between different symbolic means in the production of the spatial form. He is the co-founder of the norwegian studio aaiko arkitekter, an Oslo-based architecture practice with interest in projects that escape from the comfort of normative. Their design projects have been presented in architectural exhibitions in Greece and Scandinavia.
