Short biography: 

I am internationally trained Architect with 15 years of integrated building design, sustainability skills and experience of working in research and teaching environments in UK and Europe. I hold PhD and Master degree from Cambridge University (UK). My expertise includes sustainable design, energy efficiency in built environment, city regeneration, conservation and cultural heritage, environmental assessment methods, architectural research and course delivery in city regeneration. I run my own Environmental and Architectural Consultancy and have a good record of UK and EU Projects.
I have technical knowledge of energy labelling for buildings in UK and EU, methods of calculating of Energy efficiency ratings, of Building Codes, building energy regulations in UK and Europe and national and international Environmental Assessment Methods. I am part of EU research projects for “Increasing energy performance of existing buildings through process and innovations” and "System for Energy Consumption",exploring European Opportunities to convert inefficient buildings to ZERO-Energy buildings. I conduct a Market Uptake study on energy efficient behaviour as a UK partner for EU research group. I am also involved in an Energy Efficiency Project in Cambridgeshire (UK). I am familiar with the problems of energy efficiency in buildings in Eastern Europe and CIS countries. I was a consultant for BREEAM Communities Environmental Assessment of new master plan of Moscow (Russia).
I provide course delivery and master thesis supervision in City Regeneration Course "ReCity" for Erasmus Mundus Master Course in Italy.
I am an expert for the Panel of European Capitals of Culture. I participate in European Cultural Observation Project to preserve the elements of the European Cultural Heritage of World War II.
