Research interests:

Marc's recent work has looked into "open pervasive display networks" - networked public displays that are open to content and control from many sources. Instead of being setup and controlled by display owners, open display networks support community supplied content and can be personalized both in-situ and over a longer term by passers-by. His interests are both on systems aspects (architecture and implementation) and HCI aspects (usability, use and appropriation, privacy).
